Overview

To provide accounting and financial support to the Accounting Department’s efforts to accomplish HEXPOL’s goals and objectives. To provide timely and accurate financial data, preparation and recording of various journal entries, preparation of monthly account reconciliations and other activities related to A/R, A/P, freight, and General Accounting functions. Assist with audits, Corporate Tax and budgeting. To coordinate the Accounting Department’s role with other departments.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver all required monthly accounting reporting.
  • Assist in Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly closing processes.
  • Prepare and assist with any scheduled internal or external auditing.
  • Manage fixed assets and reconciliation of inventories.
  • Prepare forecasts and budgets.
  • Communicate fiscal-forward steering of existing assets. Advisor to Managing Director/General Manager.
  • Analyze and monitor financial statements.
  • Travel to other HEXPOL locations may be required.
  • Perform any other project/task as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance. Certified Public Accountant, preferred.
  • Five (5) years’ accounting experience. Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work with the facility management as a team to improve the profitability, productivity, and quality of the product at the facility.
  • Ability to interact well with all personality types in a leadership role.
  • Excellent in computer/systems skills – MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook). Knowledge of IFS and similar programs.
  • Proficient written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate initiative, dedication, and technical competence.
  • Excellent cooperation and collaboration skills.
  • Solid organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines and manage a broad range of responsibilities.
  • High degree of concentration, attention to detail, high energy, self-motivated and self-reliant.
  • Ability to handle personal and confidential information.
