Serve as a strategic finance partner to the General Manager, driving the financial performance and profitability of the site. This role is responsible for developing and managing forecasts, budgets, and financial plans that support operational objectives. You’ll provide insight through analysis and reporting of key financial and operational metrics, ensuring leadership has the visibility needed to make informed decisions. Additionally, you’ll oversee product costing and inventory controls to maintain financial accuracy, optimize resource allocation, and support continuous improvement across the business.
Leading the finance function for the HEXPOL site, ensuring alignment with company goals and compliance standards
Monitoring, analyzing, and presenting monthly financial results to site leadership with clear insights and recommendations
Developing financial forecasts and annual budgets, while driving adherence across departments
Managing the inventory costing system and overseeing cycle count procedures to ensure accuracy and accountability
Conducting daily product costing and performing regular audits to validate costing accuracy
Analyzing product and customer profitability to inform strategic pricing and sales decisions
Performing gross margin and manufacturing overhead spend analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities
Reporting on production efficiency and key inventory metrics to support operational excellence
Collaborating with department leaders to implement financial policies and drive profit improvement initiatives
Supporting capital expenditure investments through robust financial modeling and ROI analysis
Traveling to other HEXPOL locations as needed to support cross-site financial initiatives
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Business Management
CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred, reflecting advanced financial and strategic acumen
A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, ideally within an international manufacturing environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Experience working with ERP systems; IFS or SAP preferred
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage cross-functional teams
Proven ability to collaborate, build relationships, and foster teamwork across departments
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
A proactive mindset with demonstrated initiative, accountability, and technical competence
High attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Effective problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and operational excellence
