Overview

To manage the financial health and profitability for the site by partnering with the General Manager to create
financial forecasts and plans that achieve the operational goals established. Monitor, analyze and explain
financial results compared to planned results, and reporting of key financial and operational metrics. Manage
the operational and inventory costing environment to ensure accurate product costing and overall adherence
to department budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Finance function of HEXPOL site
  • Monitor, analyze, explain and present monthly financial results
  • Prepare forecasts and budgets and manage department adherence.
  • Maintain and manage inventory costing system and ensure cycle counting procedures are followed
  • Maintain daily costing of products and perform audits to ensure accurate product costing
  • Product and Customer profitability analysis
  • Gross Margin & Manufacturing Overhead Spend analysis
  • Production efficiency and inventory analysis and reporting of key metrics
  • Partner with department heads on financial policy and profit improvement initiatives
  • Support financial modeling for capex investments
  • Travel to other HEXPOL locations may be required
  • Perform any other project/task as assigned by Management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Business Management.
  • Certified Public Account (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Master of Business
    Administration (MBA) preferred.
  • Three (3) years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in an international manufacturing
    environment.
  • Proficient computer/systems skills – MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook). Knowledge of and
    similar programs preferred.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems. IFS or SAP experience preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong cooperation, collaboration, and team-building skills.
  • Solid organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, meet tight
    deadlines, and manage a broad range of responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate initiative, dedication, and technical competence.
  • High degree of concentration, attention to detail, high energy, self-motivated and self-reliant.
  • Ability to interact well with all personality types in a leadership role.
  • Ability to handle personal and confidential information.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on continuous improvement.
